Magnetic clamp model PML is designed for lifting rolled products, channels, rebar, axles and other metal products. The clamp can be used in construction and installation work, during repair work in various industries. It can
be used both indoors and outdoors. It is allowed to operate the mechanism at ambient temperatures
not lower than -40ΒΊΠ‘ and up to +80ΒΊΠ‘.
The PML magnetic clamp consists of the following main components: the device itself, a handle with a lock, and a lifting bracket. The working body of the device is the sole of the mechanism, which transmits a magnetic pulse to the surface to be lifted when it is turned on. The mechanism has a one-piece housing containing a permanent magnet and a mechanism for switching it on. The handle has a locking mechanism to prevent accidental release.
SAFETY MEASURES
Never move the lever to the βONβ position unless the magnet is in contact with the load to be lifted. Do not exceed the maximum rated load capacity. When lifting a load with a cylindrical surface, the rated load capacity must be reduced by half.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
Before starting work, familiarize yourself with the data sheet for the magnetic clamp.
Before starting work check:
– no jamming of the handle;
– cleanliness of the working surface of the sole
– the lifting clamp and its fastening.
WORK PROCEDURE
Insert the handle, secure it with a screw. Attach the mechanism to the surface, press the locking button on the handle, and lower the handle down until it stops. Make sure that the load to be lifted is securely fixed. Slide the load gripper of the lifting mechanism into the lifting bracket. Lift the magnetic clamp and the load.
MAINTENANCE
After loading and unloading operations, wipe the magnetic clamp from dirt with a cloth. Damaged or worn parts are a source of danger
