Steel sling SKP (cleat)

Description

SKP is a universal wire rope sling (UWS) of a simple design with 2 loops. SKP loop rope slings (USK1) are designed to hang one loop on the hook of a lifting machine and attach the other loop directly to the load. Also, SKP slings can be used to tie down loads when slinging using the basket or loop method.

DESIGN FEATURES
SKP loop slings are manufactured in two versions – by braiding and crimping with a sleeve.

Braiding is the weaving of a rope so that the ends to be joined are intertwined and securely fixed by friction. Such slings have one peculiarity: the higher the load, the more one wire will press against the other, increasing the tensile strength. For better safety, the weave must be wrapped (insulated).

When choosing a sling, it is necessary to take into account the weight and dimensions of the load, as well as the specifics of the work being performed.
